Hooray for being broke, honestly, I don't think I will be going to xdren much anymore. I have had bad experiences the last 2 times I have gone, but I have noticed the issues long before these times. I love the field, but nearly every employee there is a complete fucking moron.
1) They have no work ethic
2) They are dicks, and have very little customer service skills.
3) They sit back and do nothing half the time, bitching and moaning at the advanced players, and hardly focusing on the people who have no clue what the fuck they are doing.
I understand this is rec ball and is going to happen anywhere, but to pay $30 a visit, more with paint, and get shitty service, and only having 2 airball fields up, and ALWAYS being deflated kinda makes the business look bad.
I like Mark, but he needs to fix some major issues for this place to be profitable for much longer. Since I have started going there it has gone way down hill, and it depresses me. This is one of the closer outdoor fields to me, and I am gonna have to start driving a bit further to find a quality field. I havent been to any other fields, and I understand these problems are apparent at other fields, but I think its time to test the waters at other locations.

That's why we go to fun on the run... you guys should really come check it out... We've gave X more than a fair shot since all the good ballers that go out there.... I just don't like being looked down to by a 16 yr old kid that thinks i'm a noob b/c I don't have on 08 gear with a 246546$ gun...

Yeah, we are gonna try a few different places. My friend used to work at Official, so that may be an option, but he said it isnt as good as when he worked there years ago.
I have heard about FotR, and my gf lives in ft worth so that may be an option. It will be a few weeks before we go out again...
But again, one of the "refs" or as I want to call him, the child who works there, hassled me about my gun supposedly ramping, and telling me to turn the ramp off. About 5 people who had been hanging with me all day told him my gun was stock and would not ramp. He insisted that it was ramping, and almost didn't let me play because of it. The Dm4 can be set to auto, but the stock board wont ramp. The guy was a complete tool, and his supposed "Knowledge" of the sport, combined with his wopping 1 year of experience really made me feel comfortable with him as my ref. Plus to emphasize what you were saying, nearly all of the "refs" there are very condescending when it comes to advanced players. They all seem to have adopted the idea that money = talent...gg X.

| idk who yall had as refs but everytime i go out their the refs are cool. They sit and chat with us between games. bitch at the teams that are practicing to get off the feild so us walk ons can play. whenever someone has a problem they help us fix it or find someone who can. the thing i don't like about Xdren is the "pro" teams that think just because they're "pro" they can take up the field from us walk-ons. It wouldn't be that bigga deal if they rented the field but they don't. but really i don't know who you had as refs but i've always enjoyed xdren refs.

For one the pro teams pay to rent the field, and it is scheduled on Sundays so expect that. And honestly, if the refs had any balls, the teams who were not renting the field, they would make them abide by the same one game rule most of us walk-ons adhere to.
I have noticed that it really boils down to age. I am 21, and sometimes look like im in my mid 20's. I have also noticed the refs changing attitudes toward their own age group. Mostly bitching and griping at the older "more experienced" players to feed their ego's...not the gun. They seem to also thrive off of the awe the younger players have towards them, "ooo, you are a ref, I bet you have an expensive gun!" "yeah, my mom bought me a 1,500 'ego.' " And I am not talking about the gun again, that's mostly what the top of the line guns are for them, expensive egos, no matter the gun.
I guess I am just a bitter pothead. However I do like the sponsored player program. If Mark can fix a few things with the employee base, it might be something I wont complain about anymore. But I will be checking out other places, so if anyone is going other places let me know 
And I am gonna purposefully stick my foot in my mouth real fast. I do think however that there are maybe 1 or 2 decent refs there. I think the asian dude...Brandon is his name maybe...he is cool, other than that, most of them fit into the above categories.
